Explore an opportunity to join a well established group of ER Physicians in the Royal Columbian and Eagle Ridge Hospital Emergency Departments. The successful candidate will be FRCPC certified or CCFP EM with experience in trauma.

The Royal Columbian is a tertiary care teaching hospital located in New Westminster, BC. It is the region’s designated Trauma receiving site and the Emergency Department has 60,000 annual visits. Located in Port Moody, Eagle Ridge Hospital is a community based hospital with 40,000 annual ED visits.

As teaching hospitals, all group members have clinical appointments to the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of British Columbia. We are a core teaching site for the FRCPC and CFPC-EM Emergency Residency programs, as well as the Pediatric Emergency Fellowship. Opportunities for additional academic involvement are available and encouraged.

Both communities are suburban and are 20 -30 minutes from Vancouver and 1.5 hours from Whistler. Recreational and cultural activities abound.

The successful candidate will be FRCPC certified or CCFP EM with experience in trauma. Compensation is via an Alternate Payment Plan provided by the Ministry of Health. Applicants must be eligible for licensure in British Columbia.
