A reminder that that RCH Pediatrics (3C) provides more than OPAT services to our Pediatric population.
Pediatrics also has capacity to see Pediatric patients (patients < 17 yrs.) who require burn bressing changes, wound dressing changes, NG insertions and parenteral medications.
Procedure:
- Fax Referral form to Pediatrics (Use same form as OPAT referral)
- ERP to refer and speak with Pediatrician On Call.
- Nursing staff to call 3C at RCH to confirm receipt of fax and get appointment time for patient
- Provide information to patient and caregiver re follow up appointment.
